The Handy 2 Pro is an absolute powerhouse of an automatic stroker. Build quality is excellent with no noticeable play, the app is a tinkerer’s dream, and it tracks on-screen content accurately regardless of the software. The sleeve selection is the limit. The cost is high but so is the value that arrives on your doorstep.
Earlier this year, we were reached out to by Ohdoki, the company responsible for The Handy, and the unit they provided for us, The Handy 2 Pro. The Handy 2 Pro packs a lot of features into a single package and we will go through them to give you a good idea of what you’re paying for. At its most basic, an auto-stroker is a sleeve that does the moving for you, so the user can lay back and let the toy do the work. As price increases, so do the features. Bluetooth and wifi connectivity, longer battery life, quick charging, wall-power for nearly unlimited run time, interchangeable sleeves, VR compatibility, remote control, app control, and easy cleaning. The Handy 2 Pro does all of these. If you’re a tinkerer, there is unfettered access to the inner workings of the control platform and device performance. There is also a developer kit if you want to take it further.
Complex tinker support aside, it was easy to set up out of the box. We downloaded the Handy App, updated the firmware, and got it set up on wifi. Once that was done, we had no issues controlling The Handy 2 Pro from any of our devices (iPhone, laptop, desktop, Quest 3). Lovense set the bar high by including a table mount with the Solace Pro. Normally we wouldn’t immediately recommend a bundle as the first choice and say build over time. In this case, The Handy has a bundle that includes their table clamp, extra sleeves, and more. For the value, it is worth it. If you want the full VR experience with an autostroker, you need a table mount.
Standout things we found with our testing were the low speed torque, the longer stroke length, and the accuracy when following VR scripts. We have had The Handy on our wishlist for future reviews for some time now, so being able to share our test data and experience for the Handy 2 Pro with our readers has us very excited!

The Handy 2 Pro arrived in a nondescript cardboard box. Inside, we found the actual packaging, thankfully undamaged. There is a protective sleeve that slides off revealing the main box. The front shows the box contents, with the sides giving specific details about the device itself. The rear gives information on each of the features and some additional specifications. The box top opens easily, and the space is well used. The tight packaging reduces weight and shipping costs, reduces waste, and was small enough to fit in our community mailbox package pickup slot.
The device has a dust cover to add protection during transportation. Included is the device itself, a stroker sleeve, the regular sized band, magnetic locking attachment, and a USB-C charging cable. In our area, all of the packaging was recyclable which is always a bonus.

The Handy 2 Pro is made with high quality components and we have not had any issues since our initial setup. One of the things we like to do when reviewing products, is go over any patent filings or FCC documentation. 2BRXS-H02 This has the FCC photos of the internal construction and shows how everything fits together. Normally I don’t link to these documents as they’re not particularly exciting, but as this autostroker is designed for people who love to tinker, I’m sure some of you will appreciate it. I’m glad to see they used actual wires to connect the components vs. ribbon cables which have a bad habit of failing too soon or coming unplugged. The one area we will continue to monitor is the attachment point for the worm gear at the top of the device. It’s hard to tell if it uses bushings and if it’s fastened in place or glued. So far no issues, but check our updates section at the bottom over time to see if anything changes.
Here we can truly dig in and look at what the Handy 2 Pro can deliver. Ohdoki, the company behind The Handy lineup, makes some fairly bold claims about how well their products perform. Specifically we are looking at The Handy 2 Pro. A claimed operation volume of under 60 decibels, a 5+ hour battery life, VR compatibility, accurate interactive video tracking, fast charging, powerful motor, high and low speeds. Over the last 4 weeks, we have extensively tested these claims to see how they compare to real world use. We used a Quest 3 headset running SexLikeReal. We also tested FeelMe AI and the Handy App from our phone.
Starting with how quiet the Handy 2 Pro is, we set up the device 30cm away from our dB meter at 18°C and 45.1% humidity, and under 32dB ambient noise. On the slowest speed setting, it peaked at 44.7 dB. 50% speed bumped up to 48.2 dB. Max speed came in at 52.2 dB. We found the loudest setting was with speed set to maximum, and the shortest stroke length. This gave us 54.4 dB. To put this in perspective, at the slowest speed it’s as loud as a quiet rated refrigerator in the background, and at the highest is equivalent to a quiet dinner conversation. The Handy 2 Pro is extremely quiet and cannot be heard from the other side of a closed door.
Battery life is also something we tested. If you use a 65+ watt charger, you can actually run the Handy 2 Pro from the wall, and it will keep going until the motor overheats or you tell it to stop. Purely on battery power over several test sessions, we saw just over 5 hours of actual use before it showed 0% remaining. This was another claim we could verify as accurate, and from a user perspective, very convenient especially if you frequently forget to charge your toys.
VR content is a growing trend. During our research for this review, we found a report from Juniper Research, showing that the growth in VR adult content is only increasing. What this means is more content long term, more VR content, more interactive live streams, and more compatible games. For our tests we used a Quest 3 headset, and used SexLikeReal through the downloadable app that syncs content to devices. Initial setup was easy after navigating to the video website. The app scanned for connected devices, we entered our connection key (found on phone app after initial firmware updates), and it was immediately connected.
The tracking delay was 50-75 ms which gave us more time in our play session over trying to dial in the proper settings for full immersion. Testing the accuracy of how well on screen movement was translated into motion, we found that performance depended on the quality of script. The Handy 2 Pro had no issues tracking subtle movements and seemed to perform best using the SexLikeReal scripts. This was closely followed by FeelMe AI, although low-light scenes seemed to cause some minor tracking issues. Well lit scenes did not have this issue. Using the free interactive videos from popular adult content sites worked, but lacked the detailed tracking of the paid services. Turning down the sensitivity levels if you’re using the free sites can mitigate much of the overly quick movements or jumpiness.

Cleaning the Handy 2 Pro is fairly simple. The sleeve, strap, and The Core Sleeve Holder – ClickOn come off easily and can be cleaned with a thorough rinse, a soapy wash, and another rinse. The strap took several hours to dry, and we found no reduction in the Velcro’s holding ability or in the stretch of the band. The main body of the unit is not waterproof. Wipe it with a damp cloth and make sure it is dry before putting it in storage. The Handy website has detailed instructions on proper lubrication of the moving parts. Check out our detailed guide on sex toy care for the full routine.

The Handy 2 Pro is an absolute powerhouse of an automatic stroker. A few things stood out for us during the testing process. The first is the quality of the overall construction. There wasn’t any noticeable slop in the sleeve and the stroker. The second is the noise. The highest recorded sound level was 54.4 dB, which is just under a quiet conversation, and it cannot be heard from the other side of a closed door, making it an excellent choice for a dorm room or anyone not wanting to wake roommates or little ones.
The functionality of the free phone app is the second standout. It is a tinkerer’s dream, with direct access to configure nearly every setting and view every sensor. There is easy access to manual control, direct video playback, or partnered content. The final standout was the accurate tracking of on-screen content regardless of the software we used to test it. In VR testing we measured a tracking delay of 50–75 ms. If you’ve been reading our reviews for a while, you know we are big fans of edging and slow-speed play sessions. The motor has enough slow-speed torque that at 1% speed at max stroke length, it didn’t stall out during normal use. Battery life was accurately marketed, as our testing showed just over 5 hours of actual use across multiple sessions.
The two main limiting factors for the Handy 2 Pro are the high cost to get started, and the choice of sleeves. The Handy has an open API, and an active modding community has produced third-party accessories that allow you to use larger sleeves from other brands. With that said, the included sleeve provides more than enough stimulation to enjoy long term. Since receiving this unit for review, there are now additional factory sleeves available.
The value of what you’re getting vs the initial cost is reasonable given the build quality, features, and customization. Native accessory support for 3rd party sleeves would bring a major bump in functionality, but we will see what happens with time. If battery life and the extra features above the standard Handy 2 are something that you deeply value, the Pro version could be right for you. If you are after the full VR experience, seriously consider a bundle that comes with the table clamp. You don’t technically need it, but it does give you a hands free experience where you don’t need to focus on holding the unit while it works.
TLDR: Do we like it? Well, it is currently sitting on our nightstand and has rightfully earned its place there.
