A big thank you to Sohimi for sending us this product for review. The Petalwish 2 showed up in a standard cardboard box with discrete labeling, which is always a win if you’re worried about the neighbors or need to toss the packaging into a communal bin without raising eyebrows. Inside, everything is nestled in a neat plastic form with the remote, a magnetic USB charging cable, and even a lube sample to get started with. It’s not as girthy as some of the monsters on the market, but the rounded tip and double-taper design make insertion surprisingly easy. Once it’s in place, the toy locks down well; we found it stays put much better laying down than standing up in the shower. While it’s a bit longer than some other toys we’ve tried, that extra depth provides a great feeling of fullness once you get used to it.

The Petalwish 2 arrived packaged in a cardboard box with discrete labeling. When we opened the package, we found the actual product box inside. It has minimal markings adding which is perfect if you need to recycle the box in a communal setting like a dorm or shared apartment bin. It was well packaged and showed no damage during transport. The toy itself is nestled in a thin plastic form that also holds the remote, magnetic USB charging cable, inserts, and lube sample. We’ve looked at several other products from Sohimi, and they seem to share the same charging cable. Having a single cable that works across multiple toys makes travel and the night stand easier and neater.
The Petalwish 2 was fairly straight forward to use. It’s not as girthy as some of the larger toys out there, the tip is nicely rounded and widens to 27mm before tapering a bit. This made insertion pretty easy to use and get in place. The next widest point is 32mm which gives a fuller feeling closer to the base, before it tapers a bit. This double taper works great when you get around to turning on the trust feature. The toy is locked down and doesnt move around too much. During our testing, we found laying down worked far better than trying to use it in the shower standing up. We tried it both with the cock ring on and off to compare, and we preferred ring on as it prevented the toy from popping out when we turned up the intensity. This toy is a bit longer than some of the other’s we’ve tried, which is great for those who love that deeper penetration and fullness feeling. My preference is for attention directly on the prostate, so found the extra depth needed more time to get used to and a bit more lube. Surprising when the thrusting first turned on, but not uncomfortable.

The vibrations are moderately intense. While my collection of anal and prostate toys continues to grow, so far the We-Vibe Vector + has been the standard for comparison when it comes to a a deep rumble. I definitely enjoy a deeper rumble, but part of writing these reviews is learning more about myself and how different settings cause different sensations. Having the slightly higher frequency buzz gives an almost feather-touch or gentle tickle that gives deeper sensations to the muscles and nerves in the area, but gives you something to focus on. The thrusting on top of the vibration moves the point of stimulation around activating the pleasure centers all around the prostate as well. Deep rumbles will still be my go to, that said, I enjoyed the sensation of having multiple areas switched on. Its also a great way to find out what you prefer. Some people like the buzz, some like the rumble, whichever you prefer is the right choice for you!
The standard I like to compare other anal toys to is the We-Vibe Vector+. It’s on the smaller size, waterproof, rechargeable, extremely powerful motors, app connectivity, and has never failed to bring about an orgasm. With the Petalwish 2, I approached it with an open mind and some lube. The features are different and meant to help you achieve pleasure through different means. Vibration power overall, the point goes to the Vector+. For that direct prostate stimulation and the changing stimulation point and variety in pressure, the point goes to the Petalwish 2. A thrusting toy wasn’t on my Bingo card for a type of toy I thought I’d enjoy, but I’m happy I gave it a try. There is something special about having the area surrounding the prostate activated as well that just adds to the experience. For the price, definitely worth including with a stroker or some other accessories to make a fun night out of it.
This was a new type of toy for us to try. We enjoyed how easy it was to insert, that it locked in place, the cock ring fit snugly but was comfortable to wear. Sometimes cock rings break, so testing it without it on and knowing the massager could still stay in place was a big confidence boost. Thinking it might pop out at any moment is a mood killer, thankfully that wasn’t our experience. So, is it right for you? Probably. Its small enough to be beginner friendly, with enough power and features to keep you interested over time, and still gives the feeling of fullness and direct pleasure to the prostate that more experience users crave. For the price, you really can’t go wrong, just be sure you have enough lube on hand when you give it a try!
